It dawned on me that most people, whether at work, the gym, the grocery store, etc, seem to accept information that they've either read or heard at face value. </span></span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-style:normal"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial;">This blog is intended to encourage critical thinking, or provide a different perspective on everyday situations without the hassle of checking facts at the library (although you are encouraged to do some research to see that I'm not full of crap). Rather than quote historical research or bore you with too many statistics about how many dentists suggest what cigarette to their patients, I will use information that we can all reasonably agree on.
